Oyindamola Dosunmu is the author of the debut novel, Your Tomorrow Was Today. She grew up in Nigeria and moved to Connecticut, where she received her MBA from the University of Bridgeport.
Her novel was nominated for Best Fiction at the 2026 Astra Book Awards, placed as a Finalist in the Black Lawrence Press Immigrant Writing Series, and received an Honorable Mention in the 2025 Author Shout Book Awards. The book has also been featured in Ms. Magazine, Tertulia, and Booklist Online, among others.
She lives in North Carolina with her husband and their delightfully lazy cat, Bob Chunky Tamales. When she’s not writing, she enjoys watching anime, taking road trips, and exploring stories that transcend borders.
